Gifted Hands International (GHI), founded in 2018, provides advanced comprehensive birth and postpartum doula training using a blend of holistic strategies and medical knowledge.
We empower and equip our graduates to be effective members of the birth work community because we know that effective doula support can literally save lives!
Our training ensures graduates receive a heighted body of knowledge to increase their effectiveness as they serve patients at the highest risk of maternal morbidity and mortality.
With our primary focus to reduce racial and ethnic maternal health disparities, we commit to producing and providing advanced trained doulas to communities with a high minority presence at affordable rates.
Our program contributes to the increase of racial and ethnic representation among perinatal providers who will advocate for better health outcomes for minorities.
Our vision is a world where every birthing person is heard, respected, and provided a safe space to carry, birth and care for their babies.
